HERCULES
Hercules is a very large and faint constellation, made up of 3rd magnitude and lower stars.  Rutilicus is a yellow star located on the end of the large part of the bowtie.

Since it is difficult to find most of Hercules, most astronomers merely look for the asterism, the bowtie.  Between the Vega of the Harp, and Gemma of the Northern Crown there are no bright stars.  If you find a small trapizoid (the small bow) between, you can usually trace out the large bow on the other side.

Hercules has the beautiful globular star cluster, M13 on the edge of the bowtie.
